Successful Personal Injury Claims

Below you will find just a small selection of some of the personal injury compensation claims Alastair has dealt with.

Motorcyclist Injury Claim

In this case Alastair acted for a motorcyclist injured in an accident on a roundabout.  The motorcyclist was already established on the roundabout when a driver pulled into his path and collided with him.

The motorcyclist suffered a compound fracture to his leg, dental injuries, a head trauma and psychological injuries. He wasn't able to return to the job he was doing before the accident and took early retirement.  Alastair fought hard to achieve justice for this injured man and after rejecting several unsuitable offers, he recovered a six-figure sum for his client.

Damage to eye

Alastair's client in this case was a self-employed man who was asked to carry out some repairs on a construction vehicle.  He was provided with safety glasses to wear but they were unsuitable as there was a gap between the bottom of the lens and his face which allowed a foreign object to penetrate his eye.

He was left with permanently reduced vision and a small risk of developing a related disease which could lead to blindness.  He was unable to return to the type of work he was doing before the accident and the six-figure sum Alastair recovered took into account his lost earnings.
