Slip at Work
Ranjit's client in this case was a woman who was injured at work after slipping and falling. At the time of her accident the floors in the woman's workplace were being stripped and polished and several complaints had been made about the dangerous state of the floors.
The woman was walking across an area which was not cordoned off and had no signage displaying any warning of danger. She slipped on the shiny surface and fell, fracturing the scaphoid bone in her hand.
